Remember that only a Free Person/Owner can give a slave silks. This is what each colors represents, though an Owner can put any color silks on his slave as he chooses. Since a slave cannot own anything, uncollared slaves should remain naked.

None but a slave would put on slave silk. I suppose it was the first time her body had felt silk. I have often wondered at the excitement generated in women by the simple feel of silk on their bodies. In the books of Norman, there is only 2 types of slaves..white silk (virginal) and red silk (non virginal)
The various colors of silks worn by kajirae have different meanings and rules. The silks that a slave of Gor wears are gifts from their Master/Mistress, as she/he has no possessions and all she/he receives is from him/her; therefore, the style, the color, and the accessories that she/he may wear are selected by him/her.

He/She may select any garment he/she wishes for his/her slave,or no garment at all. Tradition tells us that slaves are usually "clad only in the brief, diagonally striped slave livery of Gor, a sleeveless,briefly skirted garment terminating some inches above the knee."
once a slave is collared.. the Master which owns that slave may have the slave in any color silk that is pleasing to His or Her eyes... even if the Master chooses naked. the "collar" then tells everyone the slave is owned. it is the Masters words and not the color of the silks that rules the life of a "collared slave".

White Silk kajirae are reserved for their Master/Mistress use only. Kajirae in training are usually placed in white silks during their training so they will not dishonor their Master or Mistress by serving others fully when they are not trained to do so. Other times, the Master or Mistress will place the slave in white silks when they wish for that slave to only serve them fully and to be protected from others

The white silk slave is not necessarily virgin, merely reserved for her Master/Mistress's sole use. They are generally permitted to serve drinks and food and conversation but sexual use is forbidden and corporal punishment is at the hands of the owners.

Masters and Mistress's insulted, may embarrass, confine or display the slave, but may not strike in any way nor permit another to do so. They do not use the term "slave heat" except in serves to their Owners. There is some controversy in using this term as many Goreans feel only a "true virgin" should be white silk, this view varies depending on the region of Gor.

White Silks are to serve food and drink only. They are to feed the Masters or Mistresses from the kneeling position only and are never to sit on the lap of anyone but their owner, and are never to go into the alcoves with anyone other than their owner. This is strictly forbidden.
If you are a white silk kajirae are a Master or Mistress other than your owner tries to force you to do things you are not supposed to do, politely say that you are a white silk kajirae. If this does no good, privately ask another Master or Mistress for assistance.
If none will help you, then do what the Master or Mistress demands (unless your owner has instructed you otherwise), be sure to log the incident and send the log to your owner immediately reporting the incident to them corporal punishment is at the hands of the owners. Masters and Mistress's insulted, may embarrass, confine or display the slave, but may not strike in any way nor permit another to do so.
